If God exist, what would be the description or ideal of God?

If you are to ask me if God existed, my response would be definitely an absolute Yes! Many may think that I am religious and have other opinion towards my response. But I guess that is all up to each individual to experience it.

I think God really know us being the finite creatures. After all, we were created in His image as in written in Genesis. As it because of this, He knew us so well and of our lacking, He has laid down his master plan for us so that we can be successful in our life of becoming His wonderful children. You may ask me, what Master Plan? Well to be simple, in my opinion the master plan is actually the BIBLE.

As I am reading His words, I am just so amazed with the content of the Bible, it has address to us with so many answers.. that He is the only God, He created us in His image and He love us.

I just felt that my God is just awesome! In His words found in the Bible, it provide such an authoritative instruction that is not locked rigid within a time frame and messages that even contains instruction on how that we should treat Him and how to live a levitical life as found in the Ten Commandment.

I do believe that He is my complete God at least from the bible He mentioned that He is the beginning and the ending, the alpha and the omega as being quoted in the Bible.

I believe whole heartedly that He is loving as He promised us with the final reward that we can achieve in living by His rules and to believe Him whole heartedly, that is enjoying eternal life in His kingdom.

If God does not exist, how else can we the finite creatures write the Bible? If there is no God, how else can this universe be here at this point? So if you are still doubting, give it a try. Open your heart to Him. Nothing for us to lose but eternal life to gain!

  2. Would you think aside from enjoying eternal life in His kingdom, there are other rewards that he promised us when we abide in His rules while we are living in this world?

  3. Immediate response would be free from sickness and bondage. Conceivably we could be infinite as well after all He mentioned that we are created in His own image.

  4. looks like you have 100% faith in th Bible. How do you know the bible is the truth and without error? How do you know the bible is the words of God since it written by men?

  5. Bible was compiled throughout 3500 years by numerous authors and with one theme without any contradictions.

This truely the works of Holy Spirit.

  6. Does the existence of God necessitate the concept of idealism? The fact is that when we state that it is up to each individual's experience, that concept may not fit in.

The pertinent question then is "What is my view of God personally?"

  7. How would a Hindu respond to this question? Your response to this question is not convincing and does not point a person to the God of the Bible. The Hindu experiences god is their own way. We see this in Thampusam. The Muslim experiences god in their own way yet they believe in one god as we do. How is our God different that make us endear Him and love Him?

  8. Apart from the concept of idealism, I really don't know how else to prove God existed. I believe that I am not alone, just as there are those who seek for answers in scientific, mathematics or philosophy manner.
Just as there are some scientist who propose a hypothesis that we human was a revolved species from apes, but my question will be why some choose to revolved in becoming human while there are some choose to remain as apes.

God is supernatural, while we human are finite creatures. There are things that are beyond our reach. Just as we human has the power to create but we do not have the power to free human from sickness and pain till today.

May be I am being simple. By Faith I believe that there is a God. Just as it is quoted in the Bible, ”blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Why not make our “Yes” be a simple “Yes” and “No” be a simple “No”.

  9. Dear Sang,

Thanks for your post. Just as I am reading the activities, the more I am convinced that I am a finite creature.

Just as Jesus has asked his disciples (Luke 7:25) “Where is your faith?”.

God in His choice of time and words, has addresses to us how He created the universe, How we came about, How we sinned and through His love for us He has given His son for us so that we can be united with Him in our next life. All this is as it is in the Bible.

All this, God is telling us that we are worthy just as I have mentioned in my earlier blog, we are created in His own image. We were given the freedom to make choices and because of his love for us, as quote in John 3:16, “For God so love the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
All we have to do is to make a choice to believe in His words and to receive Jesus Christ as our savior.

To me this is the differences, in Muslim, they choose not to accept Jesus as the son of God but as a prophet in short a “human”. Here to in my opinion, they have made a decision to reject God’s love.
Where else in Hinduism, every living thing is a god. Thus, every individual is god. To attain the true form of god in one has to break away from the cycle of re-carnation by living good and successive life.

Further to this, they do not believe god existed as we Christians believed. In the Bible (Genesis 1) it address that God existed and he created us all. But in Hinduism, the universe and everything is just a manifestations of Brahman.

I hope that this enlighten you a bit.. ☺
